Revenzer and self-promotion

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we are going to talk about the self-promotion of your Revenzer profile and services. Also, we are going to talk about how you can get our special affiliate bonus!

Watch the video:

Amazon Influencer Program – 100% self-promotion only

Before jumping into our program and self-promotion of your Revenzer profile, let’s start with a similar example: the Amazon Influencer Program (link).

Your Amazon Influencer earnings are based only and exclusively on your self-promotion abilities. In this case, the platform, Amazon, will never drive any sales to you. Also, you should not expect that other platforms involved like Google, Facebook, YouTube, and so on, will drive traffic to your Amazon Influencer Page. Driving targeted traffic on your Amazon Influencer Page is your sole responsibility. No other parties involved will ever step in and drive targeted traffic for free to your Amazon Influencer page.

The Amazon Influencer program relies 100% on your own ability to drive visits in target with the products that you have inserted on your Amazon Influencer page. Fortunately for you, Revenzer doesn’t work like the Amazon Influencer Program.

Revenzer and self-promotion

Revenzer will drive traffic in target with your service within the platform itself. It is your responsibility to create nice ads, optimize your profile for sales, and intercept the different types of demand for different influencer marketing services. We already have talked about it in many of our articles. Still, especially if you have zero reviews, we cannot do miracles or obligate our customers to buy from you.

So, especially if you are starting now and you don’t have any review yet, you might look not interesting, or not reliable enough, in the eye of our customers. Or, if you simply want to increase your sales, you might think about self-promoting your own Revenzer profile on your social media.

Whatever the case is, we have several good news if you want to self-promoting your Revenzer profile.

Good news

First of all, it’s as simple as putting an extra link on your Linktree or on your social media profile. Secondly, it’s extremely efficient. Brands and agencies are constantly looking for influencers to expand their brands. Especially if you have an important social media presence, it would be extremely easy for you to end up on the radar of agencies. Normally they contact you privately by email or direct message. Which requires time and effort from both sides. Self-promoting your Revenzer profile, you can save time for both you and them. Companies and brands will be able to see your catalog of marketing services and purchase straight in no time and with no effort.

It will give you a sharp competitive advantage over all those other influencers that are still asking to be contacted in private before discussing their prices. Think about it, an agency needs to run tens of influencer marketing campaigns per month. Which influencer are they going to hire, the one with clear prices on Revenzer or the one that they should contact via Instagram direct message?

Spoiler alert, private companies have so much to do that cannot lose time in an intricated web of messages among several social media platforms, profiles, and emails. Private companies must compete against other private companies, and they must be as efficient as possible. Companies will choose the shortest way and they will hire the influencer linking directly to a Revenzer profile with all services and prices clearly displayed. Where they can also benefit from our buyer protection program. In this case, Revenzer is by far both the fastest and the safest way to hire influencers.

Revenzer Affiliate Program

And now the best news. You can use our affiliate program and benefit from a 10% commission on every sale that you drive for 28 days after the click. It applies to every kind of customer, new or old accounts. Also, the 10% commission applies to all purchases within the platform. So if a customer that clicked on your link purchases your own services, you will get 10% as affiliate commission. If the customer buys services from some other influencers after clicking on your link, you will be compensated for all those purchases. If the customer buys both, from you and from somebody else, you will be compensated for all transactions. Again, Revenzer compensates you regardless if it is a new buyer account or not.

I must specify that many similar platforms do compensate you only for new customer accounts, but do not compensate you for already registered buyers. It is the case of Fiverr for example, where you are compensated only for new buyer registrations. Here on Revenzer, we do compensate you for driving both, new and old customers on our platform.

Many influencers are afraid to link to Revenzer because agencies and brands can hire not them but somebody else. If you are using our affiliate program you should not worry about it.

You are going to earn anyway. If the customers that you drove to us are buying from other sellers and not from you, you will be compensated anyway as affiliate, without moving a finger! Keep in mind that agencies are our main type of customer, and a normal agency spends thousands of euros per month managing influencer marketing campaigns on the behalf of its clients.

If you are lucky enough to drive an agency on Revenzer, you can end up getting the 10% of whatever they buy on our platform for one entire month. As I said that before, agencies spend thousands of euros per month, and you can easily end up with a good chunk of money without doing anything but just because you set a proper link on your profile.

Soft self-promotion

Alternatively, if you don’t want to disclose your prices publicly on your social media profile, you can give the link to your Revenzer profile, with your affiliate link, only privately by email or message to brands and agencies that are contacting you for collaborations.

In this way, you will benefit from our affiliate program. They will benefit from our buyer protection program. And your followers will not know your prices.

Cut in a half our fees

Revenzer normally charges 20% fees on your sales. If you decide to use our affiliate program for your self-promotions, we will effectively cut in a half our fees. Although our fees will stay the same, you will earn back 10% as affiliate commissions, effectively giving you only 10% fees on your sales. Plus of course, the bonus of earning from the sales of somebody else.

Few Rare Exeptions

There are only a few exceptional and rare cases where you might not get your affiliate commissions. If the customer clicks on another affiliate link, the last link clicked will give commissions to its affiliate. If the customer changes device or browser; or cleans up the browser’s cookies, we cannot technically guarantee your affiliate commissions. Although these ones are very rare cases, we would like to point them out to you. Needless to say, refunded transactions do not give any affiliate commission.

Step by step

Create your catalog and optimize your account

So, the first thing to do is to publish your ads on Revenzer, and create your nice catalog of marketing and promotional services. We have already talked about it in several other videos. You must set your profile up, and publish few ads, making sure to make them appealing to customers.

Go on “view my profile”

After it, as you are logged in, you can easily access your profile by clicking on your profile icon, scrolling down, and clicking on “View my profile” on the side menu. Here we go, this is your profile with all your ads, your reviews, and info. Copy the above URL, we are going to need it for the next step.

Join our Affiliate Program

Now you need to join our affiliate program. Go to the bottom of the page, and click on “Affiliates”, or click here. If you are already logged in, all fields except the password will be filled up automatically. We strongly suggest that you join our affiliate program with your seller account. Don’t create two different accounts, one seller and one affiliate, you can use just one for both purposes at the same time. It will make things easier for both you and us. Complete the registration and, if you encounter a blank page, just refresh it. It can happen with some browsers. You can press the F5 button on your keyboard, or the refresh button on your browser.

Create your affiliate link

Very well! Now you are logged in as affiliate, and you can see the affiliate panel. From here you can track your affiliate performance, clicks, and earnings. If you scroll down, you can find your affiliate reference code. This code is unique and refers only to your account.

You can add this code after any URL in order to get your affiliate commissions. So you can add this to your own profile URL. Remember, add this portion of code only after the slash.

Share your link

Now you can simply add the link to your Revenzer profile on your Instagram, YouTube, Linktree, email signature, or any other platform you like. If you want, you can actually do an extra step.

[Extra] Short it

If you want you can use a shortener to short the link. Services like Bitly, Cuttly, Rebrandly, and many others can short your link for free.

This is not a mandatory step, but we do suggest it. First, it is an extra way that you can use to track the clicks. Secondly, very long URLs are ugly, it’s better to short them.

Conclusion

That’s it for today! Promote yourself with Revenzer and you will be compensated for your help. Here on Revenzer, we want influencers and brands to grow together!

Common mistakes – Skip this and you will sell much much less!

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we are going to talk about the most common mistakes if you are a seller here on Revenzer. If you want to monetize your social media presence, this article is crucial because it will tell you all things that you must avoid.

We are going to see what you should not do if you want to make money with us and improve your sales. Also, I am going to give you a checklist at the end of the article to make sure that you cannot do mistakes.

Not specifying the number of followers in the title

If you don’t specify how many people are following you, chances are that your ad will not be interesting for companies and brands that are looking for influencers inside Revenzer.

So we strongly encourage you to write the number of followers that are following you. You can abbreviate using “K” for thousands, and “M” for millions of followers. It will surely help customers that are browsing on Revenzer to evaluate you better.

Not specifying the platform in the title

Another common mistake is not specifying the social media platform in the title. You can abbreviate Instagram with IG, YouTube with YT, and Facebook with FB. So reading the title, a customer can understand instantly how many followers you have and on which platform, and that would be very helpful.

Publishing just one ad

That leads us to the next common mistake. Many influencers just put 1 single ad! Although many influencers operate on more than one platform, they make often the mistake to just create one single ad on Revenzer.

Posting ads on Revenzer is free! If you operate on more than one social media platform you should post at least one ad per platform. There are also several formats of services that you can sell on one social media platform. You can have a look here to know what you can sell on Revenzer.

So if you operate on both, Instagram and TikTok, you should publish one ad for Instagram and another for TikTok. The same if you have an Instagram account and a YouTube channel as well, or a YouTube channel and a blog.

This is simple maths. The more ads you have, the more you increase the likelihood to find a customer. On the other hand, the more ads you have, the more you confuse the customer, so you should keep this number small and make one ad for every well-defined service that you sell.

If you try to sell promotional services on both Instagram and TikTok using the very same ad, most probably you will lose visibility. Currently, on Revenzer you can set only one platform per ad, and customers use the research filters, so if you have only one ad for both TikTok and Instagram, you will be surely filter out.

filters

So, since ads on Revenzer are free, post at least one ad per platform! Also, within the same platform, you can sell several different services. Let’s take Instagram as an example. If you work on Instagram you can sell promotional posts, videos, stories, shoutouts which are basically colorful background stories with a hashtag, and link in the bio. If you operate on YouTube you can sell a mention at the beginning or at the end of a video, an interview, make a dedicated video like a product review, or a tutorial, or an unboxing. As you see there are a lot of formats that you can sell. Click here for more ideas.

Most probably you can join the Amazon Influencer Program, which is different, although similar, from the Amazon Affiliate Program. You can charge your customer just for adding their items on your Amazon Influencer Page, plus of course, cashing in sales commissions from Amazon as usual.

So as you can see, you can sell a large variety of marketing and promotional services, even if you operate within just one social media. Therefore, you should not limit yourself to just one ad on Revenzer.

Each format might deserve a specific ad, or it can be sold in the premium package or as an add-on. You are free to choose, just remember, the more ads you have, the more you increase the probability to be found by a customer and therefore increase your sales.

No or ambiguous descriptions

Another common mistake is to have a very short, ambiguous, or not detailed description. Confused customers do not buy, and you invested a lot of time after your social media profile. So makes perfect sense to invest a bit of extra time in order to write down a very effective, clear, and detailed description of the service that you want to offer. A good description is crucial for your sales and if you don’t have a good description, you will simply never sell anything. Unfortunately, this is a very common mistake, and we are going to address it in a dedicated video.

On Revenzer you can offer the standard pack and the premium pack. A common mistake is to not write down any description here. Or to write down an insufficient one. Again, confused customers do not buy, and after all the time that you invested in your social media presence made no sense to overlook this so crucial factor for your sales. So make sure to write down a short and clear description for both standard, and premium packages. Click here for some premium pack ideas.

Also, on Revenzer you can sell add-ons. For example, you can charge an extra to give the right to use your content on a video commercial or website, or you can charge an extra for fast delivery in one working day. A common mistake is to totally forget about this incredible source of extra income or again to simply not write a clear description of the add-ons that you want to offer. Click here for some add-on ideas.

All categories

If you want to give your account a very unprofessional looking, go on and select all categories available. Instead, if you want to look professional and reliable, select only the most relevant categories. Brands do not want services from influencers that are not specific on particular niches.

Just one picture

A mistake that I still struggle to understand is to post a job with just one picture. The large majority of our influencers do operate on Instagram, so we know for sure that they have a large selection of pictures that can use on the ad. Instead many do not put more than one picture and do not even bother to set a profile picture on Revenzer. Let me tell you that pictures sell more than texts. So try to put more than one picture on your ad and set the profile picture on Revenzer. Click here for some tips about pictures that sell. We are going to talk about which pictures you should use in a dedicated video, and we already did a video about how to set your profile up.

No profile proper set up

Talking about your Revenzer profile, having no profile picture, no bio, no location set and no email confirmed are also common mistakes that will negatively impact your sales. I know it requires time, but once you set your profile, the job is done and it impacts all your activities inside Revenzer. So makes perfect sense to have a profile picture, a nice bio, set your location, and confirm your email address. Click here and go to our article with tips and tricks about how to set a profile that sells.

If you don’t have your location set, chances are that customers will not buy from you. Revenzer is an international company, but our customers operate only within specific geographical regions, and they want to be sure to hire influencers only within specific countries.

If you didn’t confirm your email, chances are that you even never receive our notifications. While bio and profile pictures can talk about your uniqueness, don’t waste away the opportunity to talk about what makes you different from everybody else! Here are our tips on the bio that kills.

All common mistakes

Here is our checklist of things that you must have if you want to sell well on Revenzer:

  1. Number of followers in the title
  2. Social Media Platform in the title
  3. More than just 1 ad
  4. A detailed and clear description
  5. Standard offer, premium offer, and add-ons with a clear description
  6. Only applicable categories selected
  7. More than just one picture per ad
  8. Profile picture
  9. Profile bio
  10. Country specified on the profile
  11. Email address confirmed

Make sure to have all of these points, or at least a large majority of them if you want to sell well on Revenzer.

Wow! We really talked a lot in this article! I am sure you spotted already some point that needs to be improved, I am waiting for you on the next article where I will show you how to use Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

Extra useful services that you can sell to make more money

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we will talk about add-ons. With add-ons, you will not earn more customers, but you can earn more from your customers selling them extra services. So, in today’s article, we will have a look at the most popular extra services that you can sell.

Watch the video:

Although on Revenzer you can set as many add-ons as you like, we do suggest that you limit yours between the minimum of 1 and the maximum of 3. Too many add-ons might confuse your customer, and a confused customer doesn’t buy. Still, if you don’t put any add-on on your ad, you might leave easy money on the table.

When you make your add-ons, as well as your packages, you must insert a title, a price, and a description. Be very clear and short with your title and description especially. If you don’t describe well your offer, you might confuse a customer and lose money.

So, here are the most common services that you can sell as add-ons:

add-on

Faster delivery

This is very common also among e-commerce as well. Sometimes a customer might need to get the job done quickly and be willing to pay an extra just for it.

fast-delivery

Commercial rights

You are the owner of the content that you produce, although the company can embed that on their page, they cannot use it inside video commercials, or other marketing material without your express consent. Therefore, you can sell your consent to the ones willing to pay an extra. Many companies want to use influencer creative content in their commercials or promo videos, so this is an easy way to make some extra money.

commercial-rights

Amazon Influencer Program

If you are here most probably you already have a quite big following on social media, therefore you can apply for the Amazon Influencer Program that runs in parallel with the Amazon Affiliate Program. So, please, keep in mind that these two programs are not the same. If you are an Amazon Influencer, you can sell extra visibility to Amazon sellers, adding their products on your Amazon Influencer page.

In the meanwhile, Amazon will compensate you for every and each sale that will come from your Influencer page. So, you can take money from both, the Amazon seller that will pay you for the extra visibility, and real sales that you might drive.

amazon-influencer

Link in the bio or on your Linktree

Especially if you operate on Instagram, you can sell extra visibility by adding the customer link on your bio or on your Linktree. Currently, you can add only one link on your Instagram bio, so this service can be sold at a high price due to scarcity. Of course, the value decreases if you can publish more than one link using Linktree or other platforms.

link

Permanent post

Especially on Instagram, many influencers do not like to leave a lot of sponsored content on their profiles. These types of content are deleted after few months by the influencers themselves. So, you can sell the permanent feature at a high price since it goes against the industry standards. But, this is not the case for all platforms, YouTube and blogs always imply permanent content only.

permanent

Extra revisions

Before publishing the content, many brands want to have a look at it and request a revision if they find room for improvement. This is the case for YouTube videos and blog articles, it doesn’t apply so much to Instagram and TikTok services. Anyway, if you produce particularly articulated content, you might sell extra revisions as add-on, and make extra money in a smart way.

extra-revisions

Conclusion

In general, you can sell any service that you might find appropriate as add-on. Again, try to don’t put too many add-ons on your ad. Also, if you do some mistakes here, don’t worry! You can modify and update this section of your ad at any time!

That’s it for today. I am going to see you in the next article, where I will show you how to use Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

Packaging: how standard and premium packs can help you earn more from your customers

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we are going to talk about packages. On Revenzer you can set standard and premium packages, as well as several add-ons, per ad.

The role of packages and add-ons is to make extra money out of each order. While title, images, category, keywords, and other elements have the role of intercepting a demand and attracting the customers on your ad. Description, images, and video have the role of closing the deal. Still, packages and add-ons have the role to convince the customer to spend more.

Video: Convince your customer to spend more with premium and standard packs

In the previous article (link), we talked about what services you can sell as independent ads. In this video, we will talk about what packages you can set to maximize your revenues by offering interesting bundles to your customers, and in the next video, we will focus on the add-ons.

Quantity Discounting

If you don’t have a clear idea about what premium package you can sell, or, if you don’t want to spend too much time on this point, we do suggest using a simple quantity discount.

So: 1 post for 100 euros, 3 posts for 249 euros.

You can easily see a small discount based on quantity. This is the simplest way to make a premium pack, but, you must be extra careful on the timing. So you have to specify your delivery time in the descriptions. If you don’t specify your delivery time, chances are that your customer doesn’t buy. Try to avoid confusion as much as you can.

quantity-discount

Continuation

Alternatively, you can set your packages on a continuous basis. Let’s do an example. If you have a YouTube channel you can sell the unboxing video as standard pack, and both: unboxing plus full review as premium. You can actually also charge an extra for posting the picture of the product before publishing one of those videos, just to warm up the audience first.

This kind of packaging is based on the continuation of the operations that must be performed to promote a product properly on YouTube:

  • Unboxing video.
  • Warm-up post.
  • Full review video.

These operations require continuation, one must be done after the other, therefore, they can be sold together.

continuation

Bundle

You can make other bundles. They must make sense for both, your customer and your followers. So you can sell 1 story as standard. And 1 picture plus 1 story as premium.

This is just a common example with Instagram but as you can see here we are boundling up different promotional services that can go very well together.

Feel free to bundle up what you want, as long as makes sense and you give a clear and short description of it.

bundle

Cross-channel

If you operate on several social media platforms, you can sell bundles leveraging your cross-channel presence. So, you can sell your story on Instagram only, as standard, and publish the same content as both, Instagram story and TikTok video, as premium.

cross-channel-instagram

Be extra clear here about how many followers you have on your socials.

If you operate on YouTube, you can also publish the same content as short. Although it is a new function, and still in beta, we believe that it has good potential.

Permanent

Finally, you can use permanent, or prolonged time features for your packages. So you can sell 1 picture published on Instagram for 30 days, as standard. And 1 picture published on Instagram permanently, as premium.

It doesn’t work on every platform, and this type of packaging is not so popular, but still, it is something that you can do.

permanent-post

Conclusion

Choose wisely what packages you can sell. Remember, use a good title and a clear and short description, highlighting all the most important aspects of your packages. Also, don’t worry! If you did some mistake, if you want to do some test or, if you have found room for improvement, you can always modify your ad and intervene on your packages. So don’t be too scared to experiment and to make mistakes here.

That’s it for today! I am going to see you in the next article, where we will talk about add-ons and how also they can help you to earn more here on Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

I would like to monetize my social but what can I sell? Here are some ideas!

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer! Do you want to sell on Revenzer but you don’t know what services you can offer? Don’t worry, in this article, I am going to give you some ideas about services that brands and agencies are willing to buy on Revenzer.

Watch the video:

Post more than just 1 ad

First of all, you can, and you should post more than one single ad on Revenzer. In each ad, you can set a standard pack, a premium pack, and several add-ons.

ads

In this video we are going to focus only on those services that you can sell as ads, we will talk about packages and add-ons in dedicated videos.

Revenzer is the marketplace where brands and agencies can buy marketing and promotional services from you. You can offer different services depending on the platform or platforms in which you are operating. For example, the services that you can offer if you are an Instagram influencer, are not the same services that you can offer if you have a big YouTube channel.

In this article, we will talk about services that can be offered if you work on the most common platforms, Instagram, YouTube, and blogs. Also, I am going to give some ideas that can be implemented by roughly every influencer. So if you operate on other platforms you will surely understand what services you can sell on Revenzer.

Before starting, remember: put more than one ad on Revenzer even if you operate on just one social media platform. Whit that said, let’s start with Instagram.

Services to sell on Instagram

If you are an Instagram influencer you are lucky! Marketing services on Instagram are the most requested by brands and agencies on Revenzer.

So what can you sell if you are an Instagram influencer? Here is a list of services just to give you some idea:

  • u(post) Picture or series of pictures
  • (post) Video
  • Story (video and/or picture)
  • Shoutout
  • Link in bio / Linktree
  • Product on your Amazon Influencer page

*#brand or @brand or swipe-up link always included in posts and stories

The simplest thing that you can sell is to post a picture or a series of pictures of the product. The #hashtag or the @mention of the brand of course are always included in your services. Alternatively, you can post a video. You can also sell stories with swipe-up links.

You can sell shoutouts, these are very popular and usually consist of a story with a colorful background and the #hashtag or @mention of the brand. We already did an article about it (link) and we encourage you to check it out.

So far, on Instagram you can put only one link on your profile bio, you can sell that, maybe as an add-on to your services. Alternatively, many influencers are using Linktree. You can sell extra visibility to your customers simply in this way. Another service that you can sell is adding the product to your Amazon Influencer Page. We didn’t talk yet about this Amazon Program, but I am surely going to make a video about it.

Services on YouTube

Let’s talk about YouTube. Here of course you can mainly sell videos. You can actually sell a post but this format is not so popular. Therefore, you should concentrate your offer on the variety of video formats that you can sell. Here we can see the most popular formats:

  • Mention in the beginning at the end of a video
  • Unboxing video
  • Review video
  • Short (beta)
  • Creative video

The simplest thing that you can do is to make a brief mention of a brand, product, or service at the beginning of one of your videos, or at the end of it. In this case, you will not make a dedicated video but the company will sponsor the production of one of yours. Also, you usually have to put the link in the description under your video. Of course, you can use an affiliate or a referral link, so you can earn some extra money out of each sale. Sometimes companies operate inside Amazon so you can link the product on Amazon if you are an Amazon Affiliate. We do suggest the usage of a short link to allow you to track the number of clicks received on any of your affiliate links.

You can also do dedicated videos such as unboxing and full reviews. The unboxing is quite simple to produce. You should just open the pack and comment on what you have found inside. The YouTube audience loves this particular format. You can sell it alone or in a package with the full review video. Indeed, this format is used to warm up the audience before the full review video, so it’s very common to find companies willing to pay for both: the unboxing and the full review.

You can sell shorts. Although this is currently a new format and it is still in beta. It can be a good chance to wisely reuse TikTok and Instagram story videos. You can also sell any other creative video format that you have in mind.

The link on your About tab is not so popular. But you can still charge a customer to add its product to your Amazon Influencer page.

Services for Bloggers

Let’s talk about blogs. Many of our influencers also have a blog, and here are some ideas of services that you can sell. You can sell visibility with a banner although it is not so popular anymore. You will be surprised to know that out there many companies are willing to buy links from niche blogs, especially if these blogs have high Domain Authority.

We don’t have the time for SEO technicalities, let’s say that Google likes websites that are mentioned and linked by other popular websites. So in the attempt to look better at the eye of the Google Algorithms, many companies are willing to pay you to link them on your website. In SEO jargon, these are called backlinks. Agencies and companies spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars per year on backlink campaigns. So if you have a niche blog, or you have a high Domain Authority, you can charge a lot for these services.

In this case, companies are not willing to pay you exactly for the visibility on your website. It is not about being seen by real people but it is rather about being found linked from a good website by the Google bots. It is not about the promotional service, or how well you can write an article, rather about the Domain Authority of your website. If you want to know your metrics, the MOZ bar, and SEMRush are the two standard services use to measure it.

Other common services

We cannot cover every existing platform in just one article. In general, be always very clear on what services you technically sell. Are you selling a post, a picture, a video,  a link, or something else?

If reading the title and the description a customer cannot get what concretely you are selling, you will never sell. Generally speaking, you can always sell any service that gives visibility. Generally speaking, companies are willing to pay you to put their link or hashtag on your content or profile. And if you are inside the Amazon Influencer program, that is always an extra that you can sell.

Working as an influencer requires also the ability to create the right promotional packages to propose them to brands and agencies. So I am waiting for you in the next article where I will show you how to use the standard and premium packages of Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

Improve Your Ad Descriptions and Get More Customers

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we are going to talk about descriptions for your ads.

On Revenzer you can set an extensive description of your ad, a short description for the packages and add-ons that you want to sell, and you can describe yourself in your bio. We already made an article about bios and we encourage you to watch it (link). In today’s article, we are going to focus only on the ad descriptions.

Watch the video: Descriptions that Sells

The most important point here is clarity. You must be very clear about what services you are selling, and who you are.

If customers don’t understand immediately and easily what you are selling, you will not sell.

Be clear in your ad description

  • Use simple English and don’t be afraid to go deep into details.
  • We strongly suggest that you have a FAQ section on your ads where you address all the most common questions about your service. Keep this section updated. It can both give you more sales and save your time replying to messages.
  • State clearly what you need from your customer to proceed with the order.
  • State clearly what you are offering. Are you selling posts, pictures, shoutouts, videos? are they short videos that you will post on TikTok or as Instagram stories? or are they going to be 10 or 15 minutes videos for YouTube? Be extremely clear about what you sell. If you are not clear on this point, customers will never buy from you.
  • If you don’t want to advertise specific types of brands or content, like betting, casinos, and adult websites, we strongly suggest that you specify that in all your ads.
  • Tell to your customers to get in touch with you if they have any questions. We strongly suggest that you handle all your messages and custom offers inside Revenzer.
  • Don’t forget to use and repeat a call to action in your text. We suggest that you highlight your call to action using emojis. After explaining clearly why they should buy, after explaining clearly what you are offering, and after addressing the most common doubts. If you tell them to buy now from you, chances are that customers will buy from you. Therefore, don’t be afraid to use a call to action like the ones displayed here.

Description for your Packages and Add-ons

Now, let’s talk about packages and add-ons. Here on Revenzer, you can set only two packages, basic and premium, and you can set several add-ons on your ads. Each of these elements deserves a name, a price, and a description.

We suggest short and very clear names for your packages and add-ons, you set the price at your will; and about the description, don’t leave it blank!

Instagram Posts

Keep the descriptions short and clear. Here are some examples that might help you.

description-instagram-posts

Look how clear is this example. 1 post for 100 euros. “I will publish 1 post on my IG 20k within 5 days“.

3 posts for 275 euros (there is a little discount here). “I will publish 3 posts on my IG 20k within 2 weeks“.

As add-on, we have: fast delivery for 75 euros. “I will publish 1 post within 24 hours – in case you want 3 posts, the other 2 posts will be published within 1 week“.

All three names are clear and give no room for interpretation. We can easily understand what the customer can buy, we also can easily understand the quantity and the time involved. We clearly understand the social media platform and how many followers the influencer has. Also, all values are written in numbers and not in letters, make it extra clear. All these descriptions are short and clear.

If yours are not so straightforward, you now know to have something to improve in your ads.

YouTube videos

We show how to sell posts on Instagram, let’s see how you should do for your YouTube videos with another example.

description-youtube-videos

Basic pack with 1 unboxing video. “1 unboxing video, from 5 to 10 minutes length, 1 week to deliver, YouTube 82k“.

Premium pack with one unboxing and one review video. “1 unboxing, 5 to 10 minutes, plus 1 review video, around 15 minutes, 2 weeks to deliver, YouTube 82k“.

We also have the commercial rights as add-on.”You can use my content on your website, socials, marketing materials, or commercials for sales, advertising, and marketing purposes. Without this, you don’t have the right to use my videos or part of them for these purposes“.

Again. Here it is instantly clear that we are buying videos. We actually get instantly what kind of videos we can buy, and we easily can understand roughly their length in minutes (feature), how long the Youtuber will take to get the job done in both cases. We can also clearly understand the platform and the number of followers.

While the description of the commercial right is cleverly stating what happens if you buy the commercial rights and remarking that point stating what happens if you don’t buy the commercial rights, just to be extra clear.

Few Tips for Packages and Add-on Descriptions

So, we have some tips about descriptions of packages and add-ons.

If you leave these fields blank, most probably customers will never buy from you.

  • Specify clearly what you are selling. Are you selling posts, pictures, articles, videos, links? State it clearly and give no room for interpretations or doubts.
  • Specify the quantities clearly and in numbers. 1 post, 2 posts, 3 posts.
  • Specify how long you will take to get the job done. 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks? The customer must know it straight.
  • Specify any relevant or important feature of your service or content. These are usually qualitative data, we just saw the example of the unboxing and the review videos. They are totally different video formats.
  • In general, do anything to be extra clear and keep the description short. We saw it in the commercial rights example. The final part of the description states what happens if the customer doesn’t buy the commercial rights. The last part can be seen as redundant, but it definitely helps to keep the description extra clear but still short. It leaves from no to little room for interpretation.

That’s it for today. I am sure you now have some descriptions to improve or make extra clear. See you in the next article, where I will show you how to use Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

Images on Revenzer: Tips and Best Practice to sell more

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, we are going to see what pictures you should use on Revenzer in order to boost your sales.

Pictures talk more than texts. Good pictures can convince a brand to hire you straight away, while texts are more able to clear out customer doubts.

Video: Images that Sells

First of all, ads with just one picture do not sell. Also, ads with inappropriate or bad pictures do not sell as well.

On Revenzer you can put up to 12 images and 1 video per ad. The most important picture is the cover image. This picture will determine how many clicks your ad will get, and clicks are the first step to make sales.

Later in this article, we will talk specifically about the cover picture, now let’s focus on the set of pictures. Remember, you have 12 pictures available, so make good use of your space.

Show your real face

Put pictures showing your real face if it is relevant. If you are a model or a fashion blogger, most probably you have to show yourself. If you produce YouTube videos with your voice-over, chances are that you don’t need to show your face.

Put pictures with you only, or if you are a creator, take a screenshot of some of your content.

Pictures with you and a product

Put some pictures with you and a product, or if you are a creator, you can put a screenshot of content about a specific product. The point here is to show to brands and agencies that you already did some promotions.

You on a stage

If you did some contest or if you work as an artist, put a picture of you on the stage.

Schreenshots of your Analycs

Put some screenshots of your admin panel and show some statistics of your channel or profile. Also, put a screenshot of third parties with some data about your social page or channel.

For example, if you operate on Instagram and TikTok, you can use Not Just Analytics, former Ninjalitics, (link) to show your numbers. If you operate on YouTube, you can use Social Blade (link). Or, if you have a website you can put a screenshot of your Google Analytics, or of the MOZ bar, or of your Google Search Console. Of course, you can photoshop away every sensible data from these screenshots.

Showing your numbers from your admin panel and from a third-party website drastically increase your credibility and, your sales. These kinds of images are very important. They reinsure the customer that you are real and that real people are following you.

Remember, pictures with you and a product, or screenshots of content about specific products can make you look already experienced, and prove to agencies and brands that you know how to handle a promotion. While screenshots of your analytics from your admin panel and from third parties can boost your credibility. So do not forget to put these kinds of images on your ads.

What you should not do with your pictures

Before talking about the cover picture, we should talk about what you should avoid in all your pictures. Here 7 things that you should avoid.

  1. Avoid pictures with low resolution, they look unprofessional.
  2. Avoid copyrighted images. If you infringe the copyright of somebody else, you risk your Revenzer account and further legal repercussions.
  3. Don’t put badges or labels on your picture with photoshop.
  4. If you put texts, they must be easily readable, so, in case, don’t put too much text.
  5. Avoid repetition and do not use similar pictures in the same ad. You can reuse the images on other ads, but makes no sense to show very similar pictures within the same ad.
  6. Do never use the same cover picture for more than 1 ad.
  7. Avoid irrelevant images.

Cover picture

Let’s talk about the cover picture. It should be unique, use one per ad. Show your face clearly, or, put some easy-to-read text. Most importantly, use a very eye-catching image. Leave it clear, friendly, and use a picture that can communicate your personality.

If you are not receiving clicks on your ad, chances are that your cover picture is not attractive enough. So you might want to try few different pictures to make sure to have the most attractive one.

cover-image

Setting up a cover picture is simple. Just log in to your account. Press on “Edit Jobs”. Select the ad that you want modify, go in “Actions” and press “Edit”. Go to the images section, select the image that you want to set as cover picture, and drug it up with your mouse. Put it in the first position. Done! Now you should just press on “Save Changes”.

The first image will be set automatically as cover image.

Background image

Also, you might want to set a background image for your ad. This image will appear also as a background behind the title of your ad. It is a way to further personalize your ad and convey some important data about your profile or express your personality.

You can select the background images simply by pressing the button: “Set background”.

background-image

Profile picture

Finally, let’s talk about your profile picture. If you don’t know how to set your Revenzer profile up, we have already done an article about it.

Your profile picture should talk about you and it is visible on both, all your ads, and your Revenzer profile page. It should also communicate your personality. We strongly suggest a picture clearly showing your face.

Alternatively, if you have a website or, in some particular cases, a YouTube channel, you can use your own logo instead of your face. Especially if you operate as a team or a member of an organization.

If you work as an individual, or your organization works around your personal brand, use a picture where you are alone and not in a group of people. Smile, laugh a bit, or take a funny one. Don’t be afraid to be eccentric and don’t be too formal. It is not for a corporate job!

That’s it for today. I will leave you selecting your best images. We will meet in the next article. Where I will show you how to sell more on Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

How to Optimize Your Revenzer Bio to Sell More: 10 Tips and 5 Things to Not Do

Hi there, and welcome to Revenzer. In this article, we are going to talk specifically about how to improve your bio to make it more appealing for customers and boost your sales.  We will start with 10 best practices and we will finish the video with 5 things that you should not do.

Having a nice bio it’s very important and we can state for sure that it can help your sales. Customers want to buy from people that they know, not from total strangers, and before placing an order, chances are that they will have a look at your bio first.

Video: Write a Bio that Sells

10 Tips to improve your bio

So without further ado, here are 10 things that you can do to optimize your bio for sales:

  1. Simple English
  2. Previous Relevant Experiences
  3. Prize / Recognitions
  4. Skills / Capabilities
  5. Repeat the keywords that a buyer can look for
  6. Focus on Customer Satisfaction
  7. Clear and Decisive
  8. Call to Action – ALWAYS
  9. Emojis
  10. Keep it updated

Use Simple English

Use simple English. Revenzer is an international platform, many of our customers speak English as a second language. So keep your sentences clear and use common words.

Experiences

After introducing yourself shortly, we advise you to talk about your previous relevant experiences.

Did you already have the chance to promote other brands?
Did you already do collabs with other companies or creators?
Do you have experience with the Amazon Influencer and Affiliate Programs?
Write that at the beginning of your bio.

Prizes, Awards, or Social Recognition

Many of our influencers are models or creators.

Did you ever win any contests?
Did YouTube reward you with the silver button?
Don’t forget to write it down.

Skills or Capabilities

Many of our influencers are also extremely creative artists. So if you have any particular skill, make sure to highlight it in your bio.

If you don’t know what to write, you can simply insert the social media on which you are operating, and the number of followers that you have.

Buzzwords

Insert some of the buzzy keywords that our customers are commonly looking for. Engagement rate, shoutout, Amazon Influencer Program, giveaway, collab. They are all examples of very commonly used buzzwords that you can insert in your bio.

Focus on the Customer

Now my second favorite point. Focus on customer satisfaction. You can write sentences like; “feel free to text me“; or, “send me a DM, I am always available for you“.

As you have good reviews, you can write: “look at my review average, all my customers were happy to work with me“.

Decisive and Clear

Be clear and decisive in your bio.
So, “I hope to help you“, becomes “I will help you“.
I would like to work with you“, becomes “I will promote your brand“.
I can try to …“, becomes “I will do …

Call to Action

Every bio, must finish with a call to action. This is my favorite point because is the one that can impact the most on sales. So every bio must finish with something like:

  • [Buy Now] 🔥 Buy my services today and I will promote you 🔥
  • [Buy Now] Let me promote your brand, hire me now! 👍
  • [Buy Now] Place and order today and I will promote you to my fans ☝🏽
  • [Contact me] You just finished reading my bio, so text me right now, and let’s work together! 💪 💪 💪
  • [Contact me] Still unsure? 🤷 Text me now and let’s see what I can do for you ❤️❤️
  • [Buy Now + Pressure] Buy now 💥 before your competitor does 💥

Call to action like these ones, can make the difference.

Emojis

Make good use of the emojis. Not only emojis can highlight the most important parts of the text but they add a bit of color to your bio. So, why don’t put some hearts or some money bags in your bio?

Update it

Finally. Keep your bio updated. As you progress with your influencer career do not forget to add new important experiences. In general, as you see that you have room for improvements, do not waste your time and improve your bio.

A Good Example

Let’s see an example of a good bio. First, we will have a quick look. after it, we will analyze it better.

bio-example

After a small intro, she talks about her job, her awards, and her experiences. She used a decisive statement; I will promote you to my fans. She didn’t write, I would like to promote you. She was more decisive. She continued with her numbers on social media, using a buzzword (engagement rate). She reinsured the customers, telling them to feel free to contact her.

She finished her bio with a call to action, hire me now, and put another buzzword in the text. Also, as you can see, she used a lot of emojis.

5 things to not do

Now let’s talk about things that you should not do.

  1. Do not over-promise.
Make only promises that you are sure to be able to fulfill with ease.
  2. Don’t write that you promote everything for money unless you want to look like a very unprofessional mercenary.
  3. Don’t be too formal.
You are not in a corporate job, you are more in the creative industry so do not bother too much with formalities, which do not go so well with emojis.
  4. Do not copy the bio of somebody else.
This is a fantastic opportunity to talk about yourself, don’t waste it.
  5. Don’t leave it blank, of course.

That’s it for today. See you in the next article where I will show you how to use Revenzer, the marketplace where influencers and brands can grow together.

Video – Set Your Seller Profile to Sell More on Revenzer

Profile picture, number of ads, your nation, and the email confirmation badge, are all elements that appear on both, all your ads and your profile page. The good news is that they can improve your credibility and your sales. Fortunately, you have control over them! You can set them up today and enjoy their benefits for the rest of the future.

Finally, we have the bio. Currently, it does not appear on your ads on Revenzer, but it appears with all the other elements on your profile page, which can be shared on social media to allow customers to buy directly from you.

revenzer-link-01

As you can see, you can add the link to your Revenzer profile on your Instagram bio, or on your YouTube links, or on your Linktree that is shared on your social media page. In this way, customers can clearly see your offers and buy your services straight on Revenzer.

revenzer-link-on-linktree

With that said, let’s optimize your profile to sell more on Revenzer!

Username

Login to your account and click on your profile icon.

You can change your username by clicking on the orange pencil icon.
Or, by clicking on “my Settings”> “Username”.

As username, we suggest the same one that you have on your main social media profile or a very similar one. Please, do not put your email address as username, it looks unprofessional.

Bio

Now, press on “My Settings”, and “Details”. Here the most important thing is to write your bio in “My Description”.

Talk about yourself and give a reason to brands to hire you. You here have the chance to talk about your uniqueness and stand out from the crowd. Also, we can tell you for sure that a good bio can increase your sales.

We did a dedicated video about this topic.

Nation

Although your address doesn’t appear publicly, your country is the only data that will be publicly displayed on both your profile and all your ads.

Setting up the right country here is very important. Revenzer is an international platform, but our customers (brands, and agencies) operate within specific countries. Therefore, if you set up no location, chances are that you will never be selected by any of our customers.

Also, if you want to withdraw your credit from Revenzer to your PayPal account, make sure to set your address right, and keep it updated. Without your address, we cannot pay you, so please double-check it before making a withdrawal request.

Other not important fields

The other fields here do not impact your sales. Phone and websites are private data, you can add them if you want, they will be helpful for us if we need to reach you out.

You can set the platform on which you are more interested in, but it’s useful only for us for statistical purposes.

Your Profile Picture

Let’s go to “Photo”. Here you can set your profile picture.

You have a selection of standard icons, but if you want to set your profile to sell more, we strongly suggest a nice photo of your face. So, press on “Select file”. Choose a nice picture. Scroll down and press “Save Changes”.

Don’t worry if the image doesn’t change instantly. You know that you have successfully uploaded the image because the file name will appear under the picture. The picture must be in png or jpg extensions, other formats might be not supported.

Verify Your Email Address

If you verify your email address, you will be rewarded with a green badge. Otherwise, you will get the default red badge that looks definitely unprofessional. We have already made two videos about these:

You didn’t receive our email?

How to confirm your email address

Publish more than one ad

Last but not least, you should publish more than just one ad.

Posting ads on Revenzer is free. The more ads you publish, the more you increase the probability to be found and sell inside Revenzer. Not only, if you show your customers your catalog, with one ad per service, you will also look professional, reliable, and very appealing.

There are a lot of services that you can sell on Revenzer, we will make a few dedicated videos about these crucial topics.

They also might discover that you have a second social media profile or your own website as well and decide to buy from your services that they were not taking into consideration before.

So, are you going to publish just one ad? Or are you going to publish one ad per service?

Add your Revenzer profile to your social media

Now, let’s scroll down and press on “View my profile”. This is your public profile. You can add this link to your social media pages like Instagram and YouTube. So, brands and agencies can purchase your services directly, as easily as possible.

Wrap up

Let’s wrap it up.

  • The more ads you have, the more you will sell
  • Set a nice profile picture
  • Set a nice username
  • Set your nation

How to make a shoutout on Instagram (and buy/sell it on Revenzer)

Hi, and welcome to Revenzer. In today’s article, I am going to show you how to do a Shout Out on Instagram.

You can sell and buy Instagram shoutouts on the Revenzer marketplace. Many brands are requesting shoutouts on Revenzer. Why? Shout-outs are easy to produce, fast and effective. Also, before hiring influencers for a full-scale campaign, many companies prefer to try the influencers with shoutouts and hire the best ones in a second phase. A full-scale campaign often requires sending physical items to tens or hundreds of influencers. Companies prefer to do the first selection with shoutouts, they do not require anything but a simple text and a hashtag usually.

Shoutout, what does it mean?

What is an Instagram shoutout? What is the meaning of “shout out”?

Before showing you an example in an Instagram story, please allow me to give you the definition. Essentially we can define a shoutout as a public endorsement you can give to another user. Practically, companies pay influencers on Revenzer in order to post stories with a colorful background and their hashtag or at-mention.

instagram-shoutout-example
Instagram shoutout example

Fortunately, there is a build-in function on Instagram to create and share shoutouts. So, let’s check it out!

Instagram Shout out Creator

Log into your Instagram account and go to your story.

Press on create, the Double-A-icon, it should be the first one.
Please keep in mind that Instagram can change or move these elements with the next updates.

Press on the colorful icon on the bottom to change the background. You have several backgrounds. As I said before, companies do that in order to select the influences with which collaborate for full-scale campaigns. So if you are an influencer, you should post an ad on Revenzer and sell also your shoutout promotional services. If you don’t know how to post an ad on Revenzer, click here.

If you simply tap on the screen or if you press on the last double-A icon above, you can add a text.

Don’t worry. If you do some mistake or you change your mind you can always delete or modify the elements.

You can play with the color, size, and position. I am going to write: “Revenzer, the place where influencers and brands can grow together“.

Using these features is funny and intuitive. I don’t want to spoiler you that, so try it out with your own hands!

Swipe to your right, and you have variants of your background. I actually just discover them doing this video! Now, let’s back to business, and let’s see the most important thing of all!

Add the hashtag or at-mention

Press on the icon with the smile. Here you have a lot of built-in options. You can promote a specific hashtag, or mention a specific user. These two are the most common feature requested by companies on Revenzer. But you can also promote a specific location, set a countdown, make a question or a quiz, or ask for donations among many other features.

Unfortunately, we don’t have the time to see them all. So I will go with a simple hashtag.

Let me rearrange a bit and before moving to the next video, I would like to show you the last feature.

Draw with your fingers

You can also draw with your fingers. So, press on the serpentine line icon above your screen. I want to draw a simple heart.

Share it as Instagram story

Now that I am ready to share it, I just need to press on “your story” in the bottom left. Done!

You now know how to create and share a shoutout on Instagram! Congratulation! Your next step is to buy or sell this service on Revenzer.

If you are an Instagram influencer, we suggest making a specific ad on Revenzer to sell your shoutouts. Don’t worry, posting an ad on Revenzer is free and you can post as many as you need. Click here and go to our platform: https://beta.revenzer.com/

I am waiting for you in the next article where I will show you how to use Revenzer, the place where brands and influencers can grow together.
